- iOS 11+ with ARKit support
For desktops, use the ar:assist web client. The browser version currently doesn’t support any AR features
network: ports and protocols
ar:assist uses the WebRTC protocols for peer-to-peer video communication. For ar:assist to work correctly, these protocols / ports need to be open in your firewall:
- TCP: 80, 443
- UDP: 80, 443
- UDP: 50000-51000
For best quality experiences, ar:assist video calls are establishing a UDP based peer-to-peer connection. For restricted networks, a TURN server is provided, offering encrypted relay connections over TCP/TLS.
